Keith Mellen at Anne Veck: How To Keep Your Salon Going

Keith Mellen at Anne Veck: How To Keep Your Salon Going
Sam Robinson

Now that the UK is on lockdown, salons are faced with the question of how to keep some kind of business running. Be inspired here as Keith Mellen at Anne Veck talks us through his strategy.

He highlights things that are being planned to keep some sort of business going and to help them to pick up again strongly as soon as is possible.

Vouchers

“We’ll extend use by date on our gift vouchers to 31 Dec (instead of 6 months) and advertise as much as possible. The idea being to suggest to clients that they can help us by paying for their hair-dos in advance. Available in our online shop.

Care Products

We’ll expand our range available in our online shop and invite clients to order by email or text if their fave product is not available in the shop. People are going to run out soon, so let’s persuade them to buy good professional products from salon; support small businesses, don’t buy off Amazon, big online wholesalers etc, and not to buy lesser quality products from Boots etc.

Anne’s Secrets Email List

Ask existing list to get their friends & family to sign up (at www.anneveckhair.com) and get a £10 gift voucher. (See above for more info – use by date 31 Dec).

More Frequent Mailchimp Emails

Sending to both Anne’s Secrets (clients + consumers) and our Hair is Art list (industry) promoting the above, Anne’s digital training (both new or existing).Take advantage of opportunity given by people being at home wasting all day on their mobile phones to sell sell sell!!!”
