Founder of British brand Electric, Mark Woolley, was invited to present his cutting, styling and editorial finish at an exclusive Beauty Jam evening held in Vancouver, organised by renowned hairdresser Jon Paul Holt from Avant Garde Hair Studio, Canada.

This one-of-a-kind event featured top hairdressers including Mark Woolley, Michael Levine, Anthony Crosfield, Aldrich Miranda, and Suki International. The evening brought together cutting, colouring and barbering education in an interactive intimate setting that inspired and educated the audience.

All proceeds from the event were donated to The Thirst Project/Beauty Gives Back – a charity in the name of industry icon Vidal Sassoon and managed by his daughter Eden Sassoon. Beauty Gives Back is a non-profit organisation dedicated to uniting the professional beauty industry in the fight against the global water crisis. Eden Sassoon has led the charge in building a team of the most elite and sought after hairdressers in the world to raise funds for The Thirst Project through educational events devoted to furthering the craft of hairdressing.

Mark Woolley comments: “It was a great opportunity to not only continue our support for Eden Sassoon’s Beauty Gives Back project but it was outstanding to present alongside these renowned Canadian hairdressers. Jon is an impressive networker and gives so much to his industry and customers by organising cool events like this Beauty Jam event. The guests were responsive and the vibe perfect – just my type of Electric Session opportunity.
