Metropolis Hairdressing’s Ceri Cushen recently worked on a photo shoot with HTC in conjunction with the techno giant’s launch of its new moving camera function called Zoe.

To demonstrate the brand’s newest technology development, HTC wanted to shoot a model in stilll and video format using the new HTC handset.

The shoot took place in MC Motors, a 6,000ft film set in London’s trendy Dalston. The location was transformed into a gothic set with real fire, taxidermy, a red carpet and a throne.

Working alongside fashion photographer Miss Aniela, Ceri was asked to create a hair look, which represented dark gothic haute couture.

Talking about it she said: “I love working with Miss Aniela as her projects are some of the most creative I’ve seen. Her teams are well put together, friendly and professional. It was really a pleasure to be part of such an unusual event and it was incredible to hear how much everyone loved the model’s hair. Creating a Twitter buzz among top fashion press sharing an image of my creation felt very rewarding.”
