Hairtribe Launches Innovative Education Platform
Hairtribe has today launched its e-learning platform – hairtribe.tv – featuring creatively shot educational tutorials from pioneering hair stylists and colourists from across the globe.
Founded by Perry Patraszewski (co-director of the Blue Tit salon group) and Hektor Kowalski (co-director of Anamorphic an innovative production facility), the new venture is an e-learning platform and the first channel to offer subscription-based membership to fresh content delivered weekly and translated into six languages – English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Polish.
The inspirational tutorials, aimed at experienced hairdressers rather than students, are available internationally, reaching 32 countries from a multilingual website aimed at offering an engaging and collaborative way of uniting people in the hairdressing industry.
Alongside education, Hairtribe’s aim is to also give something back as its vision is to support hairdressers globally and in particular, those in underprivileged communities and developing countries. The brand strongly believes that education is the key to nurturing skills, instilling confidence, and opening doors, and, in turn, raising living standards through solid work opportunities.
The site has tutorials lined up from some of the biggest and best names in the business (think Adam Reed, X-presion and Tom Connell), but will also offer subscribers an insight into the skills and techniques from more niche names including Giammarco Amoroso from Senzi Education and Krzysztof Pacura from Sassoon Academy, who are also guaranteed to offer the ‘wow’ factor in terms of education, skills and style.
