The Knightsbridge Neville Salon team collaborated with designers Julien Fournie and Ralph & Russo on this season’s Paris Couture Fashion Week.
Headed by Stephen Low and Elena Lavagni, they created volume with a big low bun at Julien Fournie. “The size of this bun shows that she’s made a decision,” says the designer.
At Ralph & Russo they wanted to do something a little more modern but with a super polished finish on everything.
“With the collection there was a forties feel with some of the shapes of the outfits so we went for something that was back away from the face with a slight wet look to it for the more modern with-a-loose-combed-back feel.
“One look was straight down the back and the other was an updo, which we wanted a forties feel to,” says Stephen, adding: “So we added a roll to the back but instead of rolling under we rolled up for a more modern sculpted feel.”
