Cycling for a cause
Over 30 of the team at Marc Antoni joined over 7,000 cyclists in London’s largest charity cycling event, riding between 26 and 100 miles to raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
They’ve already raised over £6,500 to help achieve 100 percent survival and 100 percent quality of life for all blood cancer patients and this amount is still rising. This year every cyclist started and finished at the same venue, Royal Hospital Chelsea and riders, friends and families could relax and enjoy the festival vibe with live music and a great atmosphere. Cyclists could choose to ride one of three routes depending on their abilities.
This is a cause extremely close to owner Bruno Marc Giamattei’s heart as his brother Simon was diagnosed with Leukaemia in January 2013. Staff at Marc Antoni have also been raising money by selling tickets for a raffle with prizes including a Kindle Fire HD, a pair of ghd hair straighteners, a cut and blowdry and a hair care hamper.
Bruno said: “Once again our staff have been absolutely amazing; all part of one unstoppable team rallying round to raise money for a cause that is just so close to our hearts. I’m really grateful to each and every one of them.”
