Leading professional haircare distributor Salon Promotions has unveiled its complete educational course prospectus for 2023 with some exciting new additions. Founded in 2009 by Neil Capstick, Lancashire-based Salon Promotions provides high-quality brands to salons across the UK and last year celebrated five years since the opening of their on-site academy, perfect for offering training solutions and events for hair professionals. After sell-out success across all courses and 400 delegates in 2022, the team at Salon Promotions has unveiled a new extensive education prospectus for 2023, which boasts seven additional courses, more locations and more dates. The courses, with newest additions spanning across colour, client consultation, hair extension application, bridal styling and salon social media, will primarily be hosted at a state-of-the-art academy in Salon Promotion’s Lancashire base and led by a variety of educators including a fully qualified team of experienced stylists, salon owners, lecturers and educators. For those looking to bolster their skillset from further afield, an academy to salon option is available across Lancashire, Yorkshire, North East, Cumbria and Cheshire. Just a few of the latest stand-out courses are as follows; Colour with Confidence- £250 This intermediate level course is perfect for anyone new to colour or a re-fresh for people returning to the industry. It combines colour theory with the science behind products and hair science enabling you to make confident colour choices for your client to create successful and consistent results. The course will last from 10am to 4.30pm across four different dates in March and June at the academy. Bridal Hair Masterclass: Bridal Couture- £150 Whether you are new to bridal work completely or want new inspiration, there is something for everyone on this multi-level course. Learn how to start building a bridal reputation through social media, consultation, prep, timings, products and accessories whilst learning about the most current bridal trends. With two available dates in March and July, the course will run from 10am to 4.30pm at the academy. Fundamentals of ‘Socials’- £150 After launching their first social media course last year, this latest addition is designed to help you grow your social media presence and reputation within the industry. It will help you discover the benefits of social media and how to get the most from your accounts organically. Identify and reach your goals, gain exposure, and increase your retail sales. Two dates at the academy are available in February and July and sessions will run from 10am to 4.30pm. Back by popular demand, some of the sell-out courses include; Blonde Perfection- £250 You’ll be able to create knock-out bespoke blondes and feel inspired after this course where you will develop existing knowledge and gain confidence in achieving this highly desired colour using lighteners, high lifts and choosing the correct toner. You will learn how to protect and strengthen the hair during the colouring process and learn how to keep blondes bright between visits. Four dates are available at the academy from April until August and sessions will run from 10am to 4.30pm. Balayage Masters- £600 Split into two sessions, each running from 10am to 4.30pm, this colour course takes the ‘money-piece’ to a whole new level. Learn how to create chunky face-frames, baby-lights, tease-lights, slices, herringbones, foliage and many more and when to choose them. There are a total of eight optional dates at the academy spanning from March to October. Mind Your Own Business- £700 The largest programme on offer from Salon Promotions is Mind Your Own Business. Made up of four different courses, you will cover four key topics including the shape of your business, leadership, your market as a stylist and mastering financial and marketing aspects.
