One of Francesco Group’s Level 3 Full Time Students, Adrian Haywood, who has won the British Barbers’ Association National Student Barber of the Year competition.
The British Barbers’ Association encourages barbers to showcase their skills in the industry’s leading barbering competitions. The National Student Barber of the Year competition gives learners the chance to develop their skill further throughout the competition process and the chance to stand out above the rest and show their talents off to their peers.
For Adrian’s entry, he had to complete an entry form, accompanied by a photographic submission with two head shots showing precision, creative cutting and finishing. The announcement of his win took place on Monday 22nd May at BarberUK, NEC, Birmingham, where the judges, BBA Directors, members of the press and Association members were in attendance. The finals included an awards ceremony and presentation of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners for each category. Adrian took home a certificate of merit, a trophy and a good bag of industry products as well as an added prize of £500 for coming first in his category.
